So, I saw this phrase, “then soon they scratch the back of their head awkwardly,” and I was like, what the heck does that even mean in a practical sense? I mean, sure, it paints a picture, but I wanted to see if I could actually, physically, do something with it. You know, make it real.

The Experiment Begins
First, I just sat there. Literally. Just sat and thought. What comes before someone scratches the back of their head awkwardly? Usually, it’s some kind of confusion, right? Or maybe they’re trying to remember something and it’s just…not…coming.
Okay, so I needed a “trigger.” Something to make me confused. I decided to try and solve a Rubik’s Cube. I’ve never been able to do it. Ever. Perfect setup.
- Step 1: Find a Rubik’s Cube. Easy enough. Dug one out of the closet. It was dusty. That’s probably a sign.
- Step 2: Stare at it. Yep, did that. For a good five minutes. Just stared. Already feeling a little bewildered.
- Step 3: Attempt to Solve. This is where it all went downhill, folks. I twisted, I turned, I watched a YouTube video that made absolutely zero sense. Colors were everywhere. My brain was melting.
- Step 4: The Head Scratch. And there it was. Without even realizing it, I was scratching the back of my head. And yeah, it felt awkward. Because I was utterly, hopelessly lost.
The Result
So, there you have it. I turned a weird phrase into a real-life action. I started with nothing, got confused as heck, and ended up scratching the back of my head awkwardly. Mission accomplished! It’s silly, I know, but it was kind of fun to see if I could actually make it happen. Maybe try it yourself sometime. Just don’t blame me if you end up feeling like you’ve lost a few brain cells in the process.
