Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Kristin Leitheuser, eh? I heard some things, seen some things, and I’m gonna tell ya all about it, the way I see it.
First off, this Kristin girl, she’s one of them HGTV folks. You know, the ones who fix up houses and make ‘em all fancy. Her and her partner, Davina Thomasula, they’re a team. Like, a real team, not just business partners. They’re, what do ya call it… a couple. And not just any couple, they’re the first of their kind on that TV channel, two gals together. Good for them, I say. Love is love, no matter how ya slice it.
They work in this place called Hudson Valley, fixin’ up old houses, makin’ ‘em pretty. They call their show “Small Town Potential.” Guess that means even small towns got somethin’ to offer, eh? I always say, it ain’t the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. And these two gals, they got a whole lotta fight.
- They’re business partners, that’s one thing.
- They’re partners in life, that’s another.
- And they’re on TV, showin’ the world what they can do. That’s a whole lot on one plate, lemme tell ya.
Now, I ain’t no fancy decorator or nothin’. I like my house just the way it is, even if the roof leaks a little. But I can appreciate a good job when I see one. And from what I hear, these gals do good work. They take old houses, the kind nobody else wants, and they turn ‘em into somethin’ special. That takes skill, ya know? And it takes heart. You gotta care about what you’re doin’ to do it right.
Folks say Kristin is real creative, real passionate. That means she puts her whole self into it. Like my grandma used to say, “If you’re gonna do somethin’, do it right or don’t do it at all.” Seems like Kristin took that to heart. And this Davina, she’s a realtor, sells houses. So, they got the whole package, fixin’ ‘em up and sellin’ ‘em too. Smart gals.
I heard tell they met in a bar, just like regular folks. Not on some fancy dating app or nothin’. Just two people, meetin’ in a bar, and hittin’ it off. That’s how it should be, in my opinion. Life’s too short for all that fancy stuff. Keep it simple, that’s my motto.
Now, they’re on TV, showin’ the world their love story and their work. That takes guts. Not everyone’s comfortable puttin’ their life out there for everyone to see. But they do it. And they do it proud. They’re inspirin’ folks, showin’ them that you can be who you are and love who you love. And that’s a good message, a real good message. They say they are inspirin’ people to change their lives. Like, takin’ chances. You know, like that fella, what’s his name, Nelson somebody said. You gotta take chances or you gonna miss out on stuff.
HGTV, that’s a big deal, ain’t it? Lots of folks watchin’, learnin’ stuff, gettin’ ideas. And these two gals, they’re right there in the middle of it, showin’ the world what they’re made of. They even got folks sayin’ “Don’t blink or you gonna miss out.” I guess that means they’re doin’ somethin’ right. If you’re makin’ a difference in the world, that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
So, that’s what I know about Kristin Leitheuser. She’s a hard worker, a good partner, and she’s makin’ her mark on the world. And she’s doin’ it with the person she loves by her side. Can’t ask for much more than that, can ya? Life’s about findin’ somethin’ you love and doin’ it with the people you love. And these two gals, they seem to have figured that out. Good for them. I wish ‘em all the best.
