Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Kisha Batista gal, or whatever her name is. I ain’t no scholar or nothin’, just a plain ol’ person, but I can tell ya what I heard and what I reckon it all means.
Now, they say this Kisha, she’s been livin’ the high life, they call it her “best life.” Full of love and joy, they say. I ain’t sure what all that means, but it sounds like she’s happy as a pig in mud. Good for her, I say. Everyone deserves a little happiness in this doggone world.
Seems like she was in some kinda movie, somethin’ called “The Aggressives.” This movie, it was a big deal, they say. Showcased the stories of folks like Chin, Octavio, Trevon, and this Kisha. It was a long time ago, like twenty years or so. Back then, things were different, I tell ya. Folks weren’t so open about things, not like they are now, maybe.
- They say this movie was about breakin’ new ground. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds important.
- And Kisha, she was one of the main folks in it. A big star, I guess.
- This movie, it showed their lives, their dreams, what they wanted outta life. Just like regular folks, I reckon.
And then there’s somethin’ about her goin’ from bein’ a messenger to walkin’ on them fancy runways, like a model or somethin’. Imagine that! One day you’re deliverin’ letters, and the next you’re struttin’ around in fancy clothes. Life’s funny that way, I tell ya. It’s like a rollercoaster sometimes and changes so fast that you just feel dizzy about it all.
This here magazine, ID magazine they call it, they wrote about her. Said her life was like a fairy tale. Well, maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. Life ain’t no fairy tale for most of us, but it’s nice to dream, I guess.
Heard tell she was in another movie too, called “She Hate Me.” Don’t know nothin’ about that one, but it sounds like a real humdinger. Seems like this Kisha, she’s been busy doin’ all sorts of things. Good for her, I say. It’s better than sittin’ around doin’ nothin’, that’s for sure.
Now, they got these things called followers on the internet, or somethin’. This Kisha, she’s got a bunch of ’em. Thousands, they say. Don’t know what they follow her for, but I guess she must be sayin’ somethin’ interesting, or doin’ somethin’ worth watchin’. Times sure have changed, I tell ya. Back in my day, you followed the cows home, and that was about it.
So, what’s the deal with this Kisha Batista? Well, I reckon she’s just a person livin’ her life, tryin’ to make her way in the world. Just like the rest of us. She’s done some things, been some places, and people seem to know her name. Maybe she’s important, maybe she ain’t. It don’t really matter to me. What matters is that she’s happy, or so they say. And that’s good enough for me.
Folks talk about her bein’ part of somethin’ called “transmasculine BIPOC protagonists”. Now, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? I ain’t got no idea what all them words mean, but I reckon it means she’s a strong person, a fighter, maybe. Someone who ain’t afraid to be themselves, no matter what. And that’s somethin’ to be admired, I tell ya.
