Alright, listen up, I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this thing, how much it costs to, ya know, not have a baby no more. It ain’t easy talkin’ ’bout, but it’s somethin’ some folks gotta think about, ya hear?

But, Lordy, it could go up to almost a thousand! That’s a lotta money, enough to feed a family for a month, I tell ya.

Then there’s this other way, with pills and such. They call it a “medical” somethin’ or other. Sounds fancy, but it’s still the same thing, ya ain’t keepin’ the baby. Now, that one, I heard it can be up to eight hundred dollars. But again, it depends on where you go and what state you’re in. Everything’s always different dependin’ on where you are, seems like.
Why it costs so much, I don’t rightly know. They say it’s the doctors, and the nurses, and the place you go, all that adds up, I guess. And the medicine, too, that stuff ain’t cheap, not these days. Seems like everything costs more than it used to. Back in my day…
Here’s the thing, though: If you’re thinkin’ about this, you really gotta find a place you trust, a place that’s gonna take good care of ya. Don’t just go to the cheapest place, ya hear? Sometimes, cheap ain’t good, and good ain’t cheap. You gotta think about your health and safety first, that’s the most important thing, more important than money.
And don’t be afraid to ask questions. Ask ’em how much it’ll cost, ask ’em what they’re gonna do, ask ’em anything that’s on your mind. It’s your body, your decision, so you got a right to know. Don’t let nobody rush ya or push ya into somethin’ you ain’t sure about.
Another thing to think about is the travel, how far ya gotta go, and if you need a ride or somethin’. That can add up too, you know, gas money, and maybe stayin’ overnight somewhere. It all adds up, so keep that in mind when you’re figurin’ out how much this whole thing will cost ya.
I ain’t sayin’ it’s right or wrong, that ain’t my place. But I am sayin’ that if you’re in this situation, you need to be smart, you need to be careful, and you need to make the best decision for yourself. And part of that is knowin’ how much it’s gonna cost, so you can be prepared. Ain’t nothin’ worse than bein’ surprised by a big bill, especially when you’re already dealin’ with somethin’ this tough.
So, go talk to the folks who do this, find out what their prices are, and then you can decide what’s best for you. And don’t be ashamed to ask for help if you need it, there are people out there who care and wanna help, you just gotta find ’em. That’s all I got to say about that.
