Some folks may not understand it, but in the end, he was just a man livin’ his life the way he saw fit. He didn’t bother nobody, but sometimes folks can be cruel, can’t they? A lot of times, they take issue with what they don’t understand, and that might’ve played a part in what happened to him.

After Jonty’s death, the police started their investigation, and it didn’t take long before they pointed to a suspect. A man by the name of Javed Raymond, 29 years old, became the prime person of interest. Now, folks are still waitin’ to see what happens with that case, but it sure has stirred up a lot of emotions. And it ain’t just the local folks who are involved – even the famous actor Tyler Perry got involved, offering a reward of $100,000 for any information that could lead to a conviction. I reckon that’s a pretty big deal when someone with that kind of name steps up.
It’s important to know that the authorities have said they don’t have any proof that Jonty’s murder was related to his sexuality. They can’t say for sure that it was because of him bein’ gay, though a lot of people feel that might have something to do with it. It’s hard to say right now, but folks are hopin’ that the police find the truth, no matter what it is. All anyone really wants is justice for Jonty. He was a young man with a lot ahead of him, and now he’s gone, and that just ain’t right.
People are still talkin’ about what happened to Jonty, and it don’t seem like they’ll stop any time soon.
