My Trip to Planned Parenthood on La Brea
So, I needed to get some things checked out, and decided to head over to the Planned Parenthood located on La Brea. Heard about it, figured I’d give it a try myself rather than just going off what others say.
Finding the Place and Getting In
Finding the building wasn’t too hard, it’s right there on La Brea, pretty noticeable. Parking was a bit of what you’d expect in LA, had to circle once or twice but found a spot eventually. Walking up, the place looked clean, professional enough from the outside. Wasn’t sure what to expect, really.

It wasn’t overly crowded when I was there, which was nice. Had my phone to keep me busy. The wait wasn’t too terrible, maybe 20 minutes past my actual appointment time, which honestly, is pretty good for any kind of doctor’s visit these days.

Then they called my name. A staff member took me back to a smaller room. They were polite, explained what was going to happen. Asked some more questions, took vitals like blood pressure and weight. Felt pretty standard, like any other clinic visit.
Then the main provider came in. We talked about why I was there. They listened, which is always a big plus. Didn’t feel rushed. They explained the options and procedures clearly, using regular words, not a bunch of medical talk I wouldn’t understand. Everything felt professional and respectful. They made sure I understood everything before proceeding.

The staff I interacted with were professional, the place was clean, and the process was relatively efficient, especially having made an appointment beforehand. Got done what I needed to get done.
