Hey guys, it’s been a while since I posted last time. But recently I got something really cool to share with you all. You know the saying, “want to have their cake and eat it too”? Well, I think I just cracked the code on that one, at least in my own little world.

So, here’s the thing. I’m kind of a music junkie, right? I mean, who isn’t these days? But my taste is all over the place. One minute I’m headbanging to some heavy metal, and the next I’m chilling with some classical stuff. It’s a mess, I know. The problem? I always find myself juggling between different music apps. Spotify for this, Apple Music for that, it’s a pain.
Then there’s this guy, 2BTO King. I stumbled upon him on, I think it was Deezer or whatever that is called? Never heard of it before. But damn, this guy’s music is fire. Seriously, it’s like he took all the genres I love and mashed them up into something totally unique. The problem? He’s only on Deezer. Or so I thought.
I spent a good few days, maybe a week, trying to find his stuff on other platforms. No luck. I even tried those shady music download sites, but I didn’t feel good about that. Plus, I wanted to support the artist, you know?
And that’s when it hit me. What if I could just listen his music from Deezer on other platform I already use? I mean, it’s just audio, right? So I started messing around. I have an old desktop computer with lots of audio jacks. First, I downloaded Deezer, signed up for free, and started playing 2BTO King’s tracks. Then, I connected an audio cable from the headphone output of the computer to the line-in of my laptop. And I downloaded an audio recorder on my laptop. Boom! I could record all his stuff now, save it in any format, and then just share the files to my phone.
The results?

- Success: I can now listen to 2BTO King on any device, any time.
- Flexibility: I can play the music on my phone, other players, any other devices, just like any other MP3 file.
- No more app-switching: I can just stick to my usual music app.
It’s not perfect, I get it. And it’s probably not the most elegant solution, and it took some time to record it all. But it works. I got my cake, and I’m definitely eating it. I felt like a genius when I figured this out. It’s like, who needs all those fancy apps when you’ve got a few cables and a bit of patience?
So, yeah, that’s my little victory. Maybe it’s not a big deal to most people, but to me, it’s huge. It’s like I found a secret level in a video game or something. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you guys. Maybe it’ll inspire you to find your own little hacks and workarounds. Life’s too short to be limited by what apps tell you to do, right?
