Okay, so I was thinking about all the stuff we still haven’t figured out how to make. You know, those things that seem like they should totally exist by now, but they just…don’t. I started jotting down some ideas, and things got pretty interesting.

Anti-Fogging Glasses
First off, anti-fogging glasses. Seriously, why isn’t this a thing yet? I remember when the pandemic hit, everyone was wearing masks, and suddenly, my glasses were constantly fogging up. It was super annoying! And it’s not just a mask thing, it happens on cold days too. I tried a few sprays and cloths that claimed to prevent fogging, but honestly, they barely worked. I spent a good chunk of time researching how to make lenses that just don’t fog up, period. I even experimented with some homemade coatings using soap and vinegar – big fail. It’s 2024, people, we should have solved this by now!
- Tried anti-fog sprays – meh.
- Experimented with soap and vinegar – disaster.
- Still foggy after all that.
Margarita K-Cups
Next up, and this one’s a bit more fun, margarita K-Cups. Hear me out! We have coffee K-Cups, tea K-Cups, even hot chocolate K-Cups. Why not margaritas? I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but imagine popping a little pod into your Keurig and having a fresh margarita in seconds. I tried to hack this together by mixing margarita mix with water and freezing it into little pods, but it was a mess. The machine didn’t like it, and the result was a watery, sad excuse for a margarita. Plus, no tequila! I even looked into whether you could make powdered alcohol, but that’s a whole other can of worms. But still, a guy can dream, right?
- Tried making frozen margarita pods – epic fail.
- Looked into powdered alcohol – weird and complicated.
- Still dreaming of instant margaritas.
These are just a couple of things I’ve been messing around with. It’s funny how we have self-driving cars and robots that can do backflips, but we still can’t get a decent pair of anti-fog glasses or a quick, machine-made margarita. I mean, seriously. I’m not giving up, though. I’ll keep tinkering and trying things out, and who knows, maybe one day I’ll crack the code. Or maybe someone smarter than me will beat me to it. Either way, I think it’s cool to think about these little problems and try to come up with solutions. It’s all about making life a little bit easier, and a little bit more fun, one invention (or failed experiment) at a time.
