Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “3rd love of your life” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I’m not talking about romantic love here, but more like that thing you’re obsessed with, that you could spend hours doing and not even notice the time flying by. For some, it is career, for others, it is hobby.
My First Attempts
I started by making a list. You know, just brainstorming all the stuff I enjoy. I wrote down:
- Reading (okay, that’s a given)
- Cooking (sometimes it’s therapeutic, sometimes it’s disaster)
- Watching movies (mostly action stuff and, don’t judge, rom-coms)
- Walking around with my dog (he’s a good boy)
I stared at the list. Nothing really screamed “3rd love.” They’re all good, solid activities, but not that all-consuming passion I was looking for.
The “Aha!” Moment
Then, it hit me. It happened while I was trying to fix something. I’m not exactly the handiest person, but I hate calling someone for every little thing. I will find out the way to fix it.
I start to record the process, it is amazing! I found this feeling that I never met before!
Diving Deep
So, I’ve started tinkering. I began with a simple one. Then more complicated ones. The more complex the challenge, the more excited I get.
What I’ve Learned (So Far)
This whole “3rd love” thing is a journey. Here’s what I’ve realized:
- It’s okay to stumble. I’ve had my share of moments where I totally messed up. It’s part of the fun.
- It’s not about being perfect. It’s about the process, the learning, the doing.
- It’s about feeling alive. When I’m in the middle of my projects, I feel this surge of energy, this focus. It’s like the world fades away.
I’m sharing all this, not because I’m an expert, but because I’m genuinely excited. And if reading about my clumsy attempts inspires even one person to find their “3rd love,” then it’s worth it.
I record all of this with my phone and I’m excited to share it!
