Okay, so, today was… interesting. Let’s just say my boyfriend and I decided to spice things up, and, well, “nerdy” is definitely the right word to describe it.

The Setup
It all started with a casual conversation about, believe it or not, binary code. I have no idea how we got there, but suddenly he’s excitedly explaining something about converting letters to numbers, and I’m just nodding along, half-confused, half-amused.
Then, he gets this mischievous glint in his eyes. I should’ve known then, honestly. He pulls out this little notebook and starts scribbling furiously. I peek over his shoulder, and it’s just lines and lines of 0s and 1s. Like, what?
The “Experiment”
He turns to me, grinning like a mad scientist, and says, “I’ve encoded a message for you. A very… special message.” I raise an eyebrow, totally intrigued at this point.
He hands me a piece of paper with a simple binary-to-text conversion chart. Seriously. He made me a freaking decoder ring for his… love message. I couldn’t help but laugh, it was so dorky and sweet.
So, I start working on it, feeling like I’m in some kind of spy movie. It took a while, and there were a few moments where I was pretty sure he’d messed up the code, but eventually, I started deciphering individual letters. Then words started forming.

- First few letters: U… N… D… Oh boy, this is going exactly where I think it is.
- Next few: R… E… S… Okay, definitely going there. I can’t believe he did this.
- The rest: S… (and so on)…Yeah,it said something I could not repeat here.
By the time I finished, I was blushing like crazy, but also cracking up. He was just watching me, a huge, proud grin on his face. Like he’d just solved the world’s biggest mystery.
The… Aftermath
Well, I mean, the message was pretty clear. Let’s just say the rest of the evening was… less about binary code and more about, uh, practical application. It was surprisingly effective. Who knew binary could be so… stimulating?
I have to admit, it was one of the most memorable and ridiculous things we’ve ever done. It’s totally going down in our personal history books. Nerdy? Absolutely. But also kind of incredibly hot. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
Guess I’ll have to start brushing up on my coding skills. Revenge is a dish best served in hexadecimal, maybe?
