Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole “safe adult website” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I figured, you know, the internet’s full of dodgy stuff, so maybe I could do something about it. Especially since there are so many dirty websites over the internet.
I started by just, like, browsing around. Yeah, I know, sounds weird, but I wanted to see what was out there. Man, there’s a lot of junk. I mean, you wouldn’t believe some of the stuff I stumbled upon. I read that some bad websites might put malware on my computer. I didn’t know that could happen! I definitely don’t want that, so I downloaded some antivirus software. I figured that should help protect my computer.
Then I thought, what if I tried to build something better?
So, I started looking into this “Zero Trust” thing. Sounds fancy, right? Apparently, it’s like a super-secure way to handle web stuff. Makes sure nothing bad gets through. They say it provides “complete web security protection”. Cool.
- I signed up for some free trial of a service that does this whole “Zero Trust” browsing. They call it “Remote Browser Isolation.”
- It was kinda slow at first, but I guess that’s the price of being safe, maybe?
- I also messed with their “Data Loss Prevention” thing. Sounds important, but honestly, I’m not 100% sure what it does. I guess it stops you from sending out info you shouldn’t?
After a few days of using this, I felt, like, way more chill browsing around. Didn’t have to worry about accidentally clicking on something that would mess up my computer.
Then I went down this whole rabbit hole of, like, the history of adult stuff online. Did you know they call sex work the “oldest profession”? Wild, right? Got me thinking about how to make things safer for everyone involved. It’s a complicated issue, for sure, with a lot of different perspectives.
Anyway, I’m still figuring this whole thing out. But it’s been a pretty interesting experience. Maybe one day, I’ll actually build something that makes a difference. Who knows. For now, I just wanted to share my little adventure. It’s been messy, a bit weird, but definitely a learning experience.
I learned a lot, and it’s definitely changed how I think about browsing the web. It’s a jungle out there, folks, so be careful! I hope my little experiment helps someone out there stay a bit safer online.
