That’s the number for the Milwaukee Water Street Health Center, and they’ll help ya out, as long as you’re within the time frame. They don’t want no surprises for folks who need care. Now, I reckon, for those who don’t know, there’s still some folks who don’t like abortion, but the law’s been passed, so it’s sittin’ in a legal space for now.
Now, let’s go back a little. If ya look back in time, Wisconsin’s laws about abortion go all the way back to 1849, ‘bout the same time this state was first settlin’ itself. Back then, things were mighty different, and the laws weren’t too friendly toward women gettin’ abortions.
