Okay, so I set out to get some photos of the Planned Parenthood in Charlotte. Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my camera, nothing fancy, just my usual point-and-shoot. Made sure the battery was charged and I had plenty of space on the memory card. You know, the basics.
The Trip There
I drove over to the location. It was pretty easy to find with GPS, so I won’t bore you with the turn-by-turn. Parking was a little tricky, but I eventually found a spot a short walk away.
Taking the Photos
Once I got there, I started snapping pictures. I wanted to get different angles,
- I walked around the outside of the building.
- I took some shots from across the street to get the whole building.
- I also got some closer shots of the entrance.
I tried to be discreet. I wasn’t trying to bother anyone or make anyone uncomfortable. Just wanted to document the building itself.

Wrapping Up
After I felt like I had enough shots, I headed back to my car. Took maybe 20 minutes total, tops. Easy peasy.
Back home, I dumped the photos onto my computer. Looked through them, picked out the best ones, and did some very basic editing. Basically, just adjusted the brightness and cropping a bit. Nothing major.
And that’s it! A pretty straightforward photo-taking mission, if I do say so myself.
