So, the other day, I had this whole thing happen, and I just gotta share it. I was at home, just chilling, and suddenly, my husband started yelling at me. I mean, seriously, out of nowhere! I was so confused, like, “What is going on here?”

First things first, I tried to figure out what triggered this. I thought maybe I did something wrong, you know? Like, did I forget to take out the trash? Did I leave the toilet seat up again? But nothing really came to mind. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack while being yelled at.
So, I started checking my accounts, thinking maybe it’s a bill or something. I logged into my phone account. Nope, all good there. Balance is fine, no issues. Then I went to my broadband account, nothing unusual there either. Just the usual stuff. Bills paid, everything’s in order.
- Checked mobile account – all good.
- Checked broadband account – nothing unusual.
- Checked other online services – nothing.
Then, I thought, let me check some other online services I use. You never know, right? I looked at some subscription things, even that citation thing I sometimes use for work. I even scanned through some stuff I uploaded there just in case there’s something fishy. No red flags. Seriously, nothing.
Next, I started digging deeper. I opened my browser and looked at my favorites. I have a bunch of stuff saved there, mostly work-related, but also some personal things. I went through all of them, one by one. I even stumbled upon this article about some car company wanting a super-fast charging battery. Interesting, but totally not related to my husband yelling at me.
At this point, I’m starting to get really frustrated. I mean, I’ve checked everything I can think of, and I still have no clue why my husband is yelling. I felt like I was in one of those escape rooms, except the only way out is to figure out why I’m in trouble.

Then, it hit me. I remembered we had this shared account for our TV and stuff. I logged in, and boom! There it was. He had been trying to watch this big game, and apparently, I had used up all our data or something. I don’t know, I don’t really get how all that works, but there was a message saying we needed to upgrade or something.
Finally Figured It Out
So, yeah, that was it. He was yelling because he couldn’t watch his game. I mean, I get it, it’s frustrating, but still, yelling? Come on. Anyway, I went and talked to him, we sorted it out, and I upgraded our plan. Crisis averted. But seriously, what a day. And all of that because of a stupid game.
