Now, listen here, my dear. I’ve been thinkin’ ‘bout this whole thing called lesbian mtf. It’s a funny mix, you see, with all these words like “transgender,” “lesbian,” and “MtF” floatin’ around. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but I reckon if you stick with me, I’ll make it as simple as can be.
First off, let’s start with what MtF means. Well, that’s just short for male to female, like when someone who was born as a boy decides they are really a girl. And that’s just what it is – a person changes from one gender to another, and that’s their truth. Some of ’em get surgery, some just take hormones, and some just live as they are. But, whatever way it is, it’s about bein’ true to yourself. Now, these MtF folks, they don’t always want to be with men. Some, in fact, say they’re lesbians. I know, it might sound a little puzzlin’ at first, but it’s not so strange when you think about it.
See, back in the day, there was a lotta fuss about who could call themselves a lesbian and who couldn’t. Some folks used to say that if you didn’t start out as a woman, you couldn’t call yourself a lesbian, no matter how much you felt like a woman. It’s like when they say you gotta be born into somethin’ to be part of it, right? But these days, things have changed. A lotta people understand that someone who’s MtF can be a lesbian just like any other woman. In fact, studies say that most transgender women consider themselves lesbians, even though they used to be men. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, there’s some folks out there, call ’em TERFs if you like, who think a woman who used to be a man can’t be a lesbian. They’re stuck in their old ways, thinkin’ that only women born women can fall in love with other women. But most people, especially those who know a thing or two about these matters, say that’s nonsense. They know that a lesbian is a woman who loves women – plain and simple. And if a woman was born a man but now lives as a woman, she’s still a woman, right? So she can love women, too!
Sometimes, when a person makes that big change, they might be confused about what they’re feelin’. They might think, “Well, I’m not really a girl, so how can I be a lesbian?” But the heart knows what the heart knows. You can be a woman in every sense of the word, even if you weren’t born one. And that’s what it means to be an MtF lesbian. You’re a woman who loves other women, and that’s just fine.
There’s another thing that some people get wrong. They think an MtF transsexual can’t have kids, which is true if you’re talkin’ about birthing children. But there’s always ways around that, like adoption or surrogacy, just like any other woman who can’t have children. So, you see, bein’ a woman doesn’t depend on whether you can have babies or not. It’s about who you are on the inside.
Now, some of these MtF folks might have a rough go of it at first. They might feel like they don’t belong anywhere, not with men, not with women. But over time, they find their way. They find others who understand them, people who love them for who they are. And that’s what community is all about – finding others who make you feel like you belong, no matter what your story is.
If you’re out there and you’re confused or you’re feelin’ a little lost, know this: you’re not alone. There’s a whole lotta people out there just like you, people who’ve walked the same path. Whether you’re MtF or not, if you love women, you’re a lesbian in my book. So don’t let anyone tell you different.
And, hey, if you’re ever feelin’ like you need to see some stories or find some inspiration, there’s plenty out there. I’ve seen galleries and videos full of real people talkin’ about their journeys. And they ain’t afraid to be themselves. They’re livin’ proof that no matter where you start, it’s where you end up that matters.
So, don’t you worry about what people say. Just be who you are, love who you love, and keep on goin’. The world needs more folks who are brave enough to live their truth, and I reckon you’re one of ‘em.
