Okay, so, I saw this question online the other day, “how many holes does a lady have?” and it really got me thinking. I mean, I thought I knew, but then I started second-guessing myself. So, I decided to do a little experiment.
My Exploration
First, I did some online research to see what the general consensus was. Some sources said three, others more, some less. You know how the internet is, a mixed bag of information. This one website said there are three holes in the genital area: the urethra, the vagina, and the anus. But then I read something else about something called the “greater vestibular ducts” which are apparently two tiny holes on either side of the vagina.
So, feeling a bit confused but also super curious, I decided to take a closer look at myself. I grabbed a mirror and, well, got down to business. It wasn’t the most comfortable thing, but hey, knowledge is power, right?
I started by identifying the most obvious ones. The anus was easy to spot. Then, moving up, I found the vaginal opening. That was pretty clear too. Above that, I found a tiny little hole which, from what I read, is the urethra, where the pee comes out. So far, so good, that’s three.
Now, about those “greater vestibular ducts.” I looked really closely, and honestly, I couldn’t see anything that looked like two extra holes around my vagina. Maybe they’re just super tiny, or maybe not everyone has them? I don’t know, but I couldn’t find them on me.
My Findings
- Anus: This one’s pretty straightforward. It’s at the back and it’s where the poop comes out.
- Vaginal opening: This is the one in the middle. It’s the biggest of the three and it’s where babies come out and where the fun stuff happens.
- Urethra: This is the smallest one and it’s above the vaginal opening. It’s just for peeing.
So, based on my little self-exploration session, I’m going with three as the magic number. I couldn’t find any other holes, at least not that I could see. It’s possible there are other tiny openings that are just too small to notice, but for all practical purposes, I’d say women have three holes down there.
