Okay, so today I decided to check out the Stamford Planned Parenthood. I’ve heard a lot about it, both good and bad, and figured it was time to form my own opinion.

First thing I did was try to figure out where to do. Just searched it on my phone, got the location, and it seemed pretty straightforward to find.
When I got there, I have to say I was feeling a little anxious. There’s just so much controversy around Planned Parenthood, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I found a parking, and walked to the building.
I took a deep breath and went inside. The waiting room was…well, it was like a doctor’s office. Clean, a little sterile, some magazines, and people quietly waiting. Nothing crazy or intimidating.
The receptionist was friendly. She smiled, asked for my name, and checked me in. It all felt very normal, very professional.
I sat in chair, and filled out some basic paperwork – you know, the usual stuff about your medical history and insurance, and waited for my turn.

My Experience
I was called back by a nurse, who took my vitals and asked me some questions. She was also really nice, and I started to feel more relaxed. Everyone I interacted with seemed genuinely caring and focused on making me feel comfortable.
I explained why I was there, and she listened without judgment. That was a big relief. I think that’s what a lot of people don’t realize about places like this – they’re there to help, not to push any kind of agenda.
- The staff are very friendly.
- It’s a simple building.
- The environment made me feel comfortable.
Overall, my experience at the Stamford Planned Parenthood was positive. It wasn’t scary or political. It was just…healthcare. It made me realize how much misinformation is out there, and how important it is to see things for yourself.
