Okay, so I went to the Planned Parenthood – Diane L. Max Health Center of Queens the other day. Here’s how it all went down.

First off, I looked up the place online ’cause I needed to get some stuff checked out. It wasn’t super easy to find clear info, but I eventually found their address and phone number. I called them up, and the person on the phone was pretty nice, I guess. They answered my questions about what services they offer and how much it might cost. They told me that I needed to book an appointment before going there, so I did that.
Getting There
Getting there was a bit of a hassle. I took the subway, and it was, you know, the usual crowded mess. I got off at the right stop, but then I had to walk a few blocks. It wasn’t too bad, but it was a bit confusing finding the exact building. The signs weren’t very clear.
Inside the Center
Once I got inside, I checked in at the front desk. The waiting room was kinda small and packed. I filled out some forms, just the usual stuff – name, address, medical history, that kind of thing. Then I waited. And waited. It felt like forever. I mean, seriously, bring a book or something if you go.
Finally, they called my name, and I went into one of the exam rooms. The nurse, or maybe she was a doctor, I’m not sure, she was okay. She asked me a bunch of questions and did some basic checks. Then the actual doctor came in.
The Doctor Visit
The doctor was… alright. She seemed a bit rushed, but I guess they’re busy. She did the exam and talked to me about my concerns. She explained some things, but it all felt kinda quick. I asked her a few questions, and she answered them, but I didn’t really feel like I could take my time, you know?

Wrapping Up
After the exam, I went back to the front desk to pay. They took my insurance information, which was good. The total amount is still a little bit confusing. The staff explained to me, but I still don’t know if I have to pay more. I still need to wait for the mail from the insurance company.
Overall, it was an okay experience, I guess. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst either. Just be prepared to wait and maybe ask a lot of questions if you need to. That is the whole story of that day.
