Well, let me tell ya, this here topic, poems ’bout sex and love, it’s somethin’ ain’t it? Folks been writin’ ’bout it since forever, I reckon. Ain’t nothin’ new under the sun, they say, and that’s the truth. Love and all that… it’s been around longer than any of us.
What’s all this fuss about poems anyway?
Now, I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, but I know what I like. And sometimes, them poems, they just hit you right here points to heart. They talk about things that happen in the dark, behind closed doors, you know? The stuff folks don’t always talk about out loud, but they sure do feel.
Some of them poems, they’re all fiery and hot, talkin’ ’bout passion and bodies pressed together. Like, “Oh honey, your touch sets me on fire!” Kinda thing. Makes you blush a little, even if you’re old as the hills like me. They use all sorts of fancy words, but the message is clear: they’re talkin’ ’bout makin’ love, plain and simple.
And then there’s the other kind, the softer ones. The ones that talk about love that’s gentle and kind. About holdin’ hands and lookin’ into each other’s eyes. Like, “I love you more than words can say” kinda stuff. That’s the sweet kinda love, the kind that lasts a lifetime, you know? The kind you build a family on.
- Poems about the hot stuff: These are the ones with all the sizzle and spice. Talkin’ ’bout bodies and desires and all that. They ain’t shy, that’s for sure.
- Poems about the sweet stuff: These are the ones that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Talkin’ ’bout love that’s true and deep, the kind that goes beyond just the physical.
- Poems that mix it all up: And then there are the poems that put it all together, the hot and the sweet, the passion and the tenderness. ‘Cause that’s how it is in real life, ain’t it? It ain’t all one thing or the other.
Some folks might say it’s shameful to talk about such things. But I say, it’s life! It’s what makes the world go ’round. And if someone can put those feelings into words, well, more power to ’em. It takes guts, you know? To lay your heart bare like that for the whole world to see.
Love ain’t always easy, that’s for sure.
And the poems, they don’t shy away from that either. They talk about the heartache, the jealousy, the times when love just ain’t enough. ‘Cause that’s part of it too, ain’t it? You can’t have the sunshine without a little rain.
I remember hearin’ a poem once, can’t recall who wrote it, but it was about a woman who loved a man who didn’t love her back. Broke my heart, it did. It talked about how she pined for him, how she dreamed of him, how her heart ached for just a touch. It was sad, real sad, but it was also beautiful. ‘Cause it was real. It was honest.
And that’s what I like about these poems, the honesty. They don’t try to sugarcoat things. They tell it like it is, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And sometimes, that’s what you need to hear. You need to know you ain’t alone in your feelin’s, that other folks have been there too.
So, if you ever come across a poem about sex and love, don’t be afraid to read it.
Don’t let nobody tell you it’s wrong or dirty or somethin’. It’s just life, in all its messy, complicated glory. And who knows, maybe you’ll find somethin’ in them words that speaks to your soul. Maybe you’ll find a little comfort, a little understanding, a little bit of hope. Or maybe, just maybe, you’ll just find a good way to get your motor runnin’, if you catch my drift! Heh. Anyhow, that’s just my two cents on the matter.
