Hey, everyone! Today I want to talk about what happened recently when I tried to do something with “Craig of the Creek,” especially about Kelsey and Stacks.
So, I started by watching some episodes. You know, just to get a feel for it. I noticed that Kelsey and Stacks have this interesting relationship. In one episode called “Fire & Ice,” Kelsey even says she has feelings for Stacks, and Stacks feels the same way! I thought, “Wow, that’s something!”
Then, I got this idea. I wanted to help Kelsey write a book and pretend it was a real, published book in the library. Pretty cool, right? But when we tried to do it, we got caught. Oops!
I also remembered that Kelsey can get jealous sometimes. So, I thought about a situation where she had to choose between going to Stacks’ house to read or going somewhere with Wildernessa. That could be a fun little story, right?
My Idea For Book
Here’s what I came up with:
- Start: Kelsey and Stacks want to write a story together for their book club.
- Middle: They write the story, and it’s about their feelings for each other.
- Climax: They try to sneak the book into the library, but they get discovered.
- Conflict: Kelsey gets jealous when she sees Stacks with Wildernessa.
- Resolution: They talk it out and realize their feelings are real.
I even thought about a scene where someone takes their cards, and Kelsey gets inspired to write her own book. Like, “If you take our cards, I’ll make my own book!” That would be awesome!
But then I saw that the show already has a lot of continuity. That means things that happen in one episode can show up in later episodes. So, my little story idea might not be so new after all. Like, in “Fire and Ice”, Kelsey already says she likes Stacks, so there are already in a relationship.
And, I read that even though Kelsey likes this other character, Bernard, she doesn’t have romantic feelings for him. That’s from a tweet by one of the show’s writers!
So, yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to with “Craig of the Creek.” It’s a fun show, and it got me thinking about stories and relationships. Even though my idea wasn’t totally original, it was still fun to come up with it. Maybe I’ll try writing a different story next time!
