Alright, let’s talk about this Zoey Reyes gal. I heard some folks mention her name, so I figured I’d poke around and see what the fuss is all about. Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, so I’ll tell ya what I found in my own way.
First off, this Zoey, she’s got a whole bunch of folks followin’ her online. Like, 90,000 of ’em. That’s more people than I’ve seen at the county fair, I tell ya! What she does, you ask? Well, they say she’s a “Performance Artist”. Sounds mighty important, doesn’t it?

- And she does modelin’, which I guess means posin’ for pictures.
She’s from Phoenix, Arizona, born and raised. Hot place, that. Don’t know why anyone would want to live there, but to each their own, I reckon. Now she’s in somethin’ called LA. Los Angeles, I think it is. Big city, lots of hustle and bustle.
Some folks online, they made lists about her, sayin’ she’s a “talent to follow”. I don’t know much about followin’ people, ‘cept maybe followin’ the cows home at night. But I guess it means she’s good at what she does.
Then there’s this other Zoey, Zoey Clarke. Now, this one’s a bit different. Seems she’s on the TV, playin’ a smartypants computer coder in San Francisco. Jane Levy, that’s the actress’s name. I got a little confused there for a bit, two Zoeys, you see. But this TV Zoey, she ain’t our Zoey Reyes.
I also saw somethin’ about a “community” for Zoey Reyes. Sounds like a fan club to me. Folks sharin’ pictures and whatnot. They even got a place where you can send messages directly to her, or to whoever’s runnin’ that thing. Pretty fancy, huh?
And then, outta nowhere, comes this Zoe Page. Totally different person, I think. Somethin’ about a “kinky world” and a “ball”. Now, I don’t know what that’s about, and frankly, I don’t want to. Sounds like somethin’ my ol’ grandpappy woulda told me to stay far away from. So, we’ll just leave that one be.
So, back to Zoey Reyes. She’s an actress, a dancer, a model, all rolled into one. And she’s got a whole lotta fans, that’s for sure. Now, I don’t understand this whole “performance art” thing, but I guess it’s entertainin’ for some folks. Me? I prefer a good ol’ fashioned square dance. But hey, to each their own, right? As long as she ain’t causin’ no trouble, I say let her do her thing. She seems like a hard worker, this Zoey. And that’s somethin’ I can respect.
And from what I gather, she’s proud of where she comes from, this “Afro-Indigenous” thing. Now, I ain’t sure what all that means exactly, but it sounds like she’s got good roots. And that’s important, you know. Knowin’ where you come from. It keeps you grounded. Just like knowin’ how to plant a good crop of corn or milk a cow. Those things matter.
So, there you have it. My take on this Zoey Reyes. She’s a young woman makin’ a name for herself out in the big city. Good for her, I say. Just hope she remembers where she came from, and keeps her head on straight. This world can be a tricky place, you know. Full of twists and turns. But if she stays true to herself, she’ll be alright.
