Stop the Yelling: Understanding Why Your Husband Shouts at You

First off, husbands yellin’… it ain’t normal, ya hear? Marriage, it’s supposed to be about love and respect, not screamin’ your head off. If he’s always yellin’, somethin’ ain’t right. Maybe he don’t know how to talk proper, or maybe he’s just plain mean. Could be he’s got some learnin’ to do, you know, about how to treat a woman.

  • Maybe he’s stressed. Work, bills, kids… it piles up, I tell ya. But that ain’t no excuse to yell. He needs to find a better way to let off steam, like goin’ for a walk or somethin’.
  • Maybe he wants to be the boss. Some men, they think yellin’ makes ‘em big and important. They gotta feel like they’re in charge, but that’s just plain silly. A good husband treats his wife like an equal, not some hired hand.
  • Maybe he don’t know how to handle his feelings. Some folks, they never learned how to talk about their problems. So, they yell instead. It’s like a baby cryin’ ‘cause it don’t know how to use words.

Now, what do you do when he starts yellin’? First thing, don’t yell back. It just makes things worse, like addin’ fuel to a fire. Stay calm, even if it’s hard. Tell him straight, “I don’t like it when you yell at me. It ain’t right, and I won’t stand for it.” You gotta set boundaries, see? Let him know what’s acceptable and what ain’t.

It’s important to understand, it ain’t your fault he’s yellin’. Don’t go blamin’ yourself, thinkin’ you did somethin’ wrong. You ain’t a doormat, and you don’t deserve to be treated like one. He’s the one with the problem, not you.

If he keeps yellin’ even after you told him to stop, maybe it’s time to get some help. Talk to your friends or family. They can give you some advice, or maybe even talk some sense into him. And if it’s really bad, like if he’s gettin’ violent or makin’ you scared, then you gotta get out of there. There are folks who can help you, shelters and things. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Sometimes, a man needs help from someone outside the family, you know? Like a counselor or somethin’. Maybe he’s got some deep-down issues he needs to work through. It ain’t a sign of weakness to ask for help; it’s a sign of strength. It takes a real man to admit he’s got a problem and do somethin’ about it.

Stop the Yelling: Understanding Why Your Husband Shouts at You

Yellin’ ain’t just bad for your ears; it’s bad for your health too. It can make your blood pressure go up, make you feel anxious and scared. It can ruin a marriage, tear a family apart. It ain’t worth it, I tell ya. Life’s too short to spend it yellin’ and screamin’.

So, if your husband’s yellin’ at you, don’t just sit there and take it. Stand up for yourself. Tell him to stop. Get help if you need it. You deserve to be treated with respect, and love. Don’t let nobody tell you otherwise.

And remember, you ain’t alone. Lots of women go through this. It ain’t somethin’ to be ashamed of. It’s somethin’ to be dealt with. Be strong, be brave, and don’t let that yellin’ get you down.

Yelling is not how people who love each other should act. It tears things apart, instead of building them up. Remember that, and don’t let it break you.
