Okay, so I saw this picture online of a person literally sticking their head out of a tiny house, like something out of a cartoon. I thought, “I gotta try that!” I mean, why not? Life’s too short to not be a little silly sometimes.
The Setup
First, I needed a “house.” Obviously, I’m not gonna build a whole new house just for this, so I found a big cardboard box. You know, the kind you get when you order a fridge or something. It was pretty sturdy, which was good.
The Execution
- Step 1: I cut a hole in the top of the box. It had to be big enough for my head, but not so big that the whole thing would collapse. This took a few tries, and I definitely messed up the first box I used. Cardboard is surprisingly tricky to cut neatly!
- Step 2: I decorated the box. I mean, it had to look like a tiny house, right? I grabbed some markers and drew on some windows and a door. My artistic skills are, uh, limited, so it looked pretty basic, but hey, it worked!
- Step 3: I put the box outside. The picture must to be outside.
- Step 4: The grand finale! I crawled inside the box, and with a bit of wiggling, stuck my head out of the hole. It was a tight fit, I’m not gonna lie. And I probably looked ridiculous.
The Result
I got my friend to take a picture, and honestly, it was hilarious. I looked like a total goofball, but it was totally worth it. It’s not every day you get to pretend you’re living in a house the size of a large appliance. I had planed it will looks like a tiny house,but It just a * I looked like very funny .
So, yeah, that’s the story of how I stuck my head out of a “house.” It was a fun little experiment, and it definitely made me laugh. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, but next time, I might need a bigger box…or a smaller head!
