Sex on First Time: Should You Do It? (Things to Consider)

So, it was my first time, and I was a total mess of nerves. I mean, who isn’t, right? We’d been dating for a while, and things were getting pretty serious. The moment felt right, but man, was I freaking out on the inside.

We started slow, just making out, and I tried to relax. Breathing is key, seriously. It helped calm my racing heart a bit. I remember thinking, “Okay, just go with the flow, don’t overthink it.” Easier said than done, haha.

He was really gentle, which made a huge difference. We talked a lot, making sure we were both comfortable. It’s super important to communicate, even if it feels a bit awkward at first. Trust me, it’s worth it.

  • We made out for a while.
  • Took it slow, lots of talking.
  • Tried to relax and go with the flow.

There were some awkward moments, fumbling around, not really knowing what we were doing. But we laughed it off, which helped ease the tension. It’s okay to not be perfect; it’s all part of the experience.

I won’t lie, it was a bit painful at first. But focusing on the connection and the intimacy made it bearable. It’s not just about the physical act, but also the emotional bond you’re sharing.

Afterward, we just cuddled and talked some more. It felt really good to be close to him, both physically and emotionally. It brought us closer together, I think.

What I Learned

  • Communication is crucial. Talk about what you like and don’t like.
  • Relax and try to enjoy the moment. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
  • It might be awkward, and that’s okay. Laugh it off and move on.
  • It’s about more than just the physical. The emotional connection is just as important.
  • Take your time.
  • Make sure you are both relaxed.

Looking back, it wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. It was a special moment that we shared, and it’s something I’ll always remember. It’s definitely a big step, but as long as you’re with someone you trust and you’re both ready, it can be a really beautiful experience.

I should say that knowing about common STIs is important.

I hope sharing my experience helps someone else who might be feeling nervous about their first time. Just remember, it’s your journey, and it’s okay to take it at your own pace.
