Okay, so, “women’s landing strip”… I’ve been meaning to try this out for a while, so I finally just went for it. Here’s how it all went down.

First, I grabbed my trusty trimmer. I didn’t want to go straight to waxing without, like, a trial run, you know? I made sure the guard was set to a decent length. I didn’t want to go too short on the first try.
I hopped in the shower. I am make it sure soft and clean my body.
The Trim
- Started slow. Seriously, super slow. I held the skin taut. I always follow the instructions of tools.
- I went with the grain at first.
- I trimmed a little, checked it out in the mirror, trimmed a little more. It was all about getting that rectangle shape right.
- The sides were the trickiest part. I had to maneuver around a bit to get a clean line.
After shower
Once I was happy with the general shape, I hopped out of the shower and dried off. I applied some soothing lotion. Because, ouch, even trimming can be a little irritating.
The result? Not bad! It was definitely a new look. It felt…different. Cleaner, maybe? I don’t know, it’s hard to describe. It’s like a little secret, I have a new try!
I’m not sure if I’ll keep it up all the time. It was definitely more work than I usually do, but it was a fun experiment. Maybe I’ll try waxing next time to get it super smooth, but for now, I’m pretty happy with my little DIY landing strip.
