Hey, everyone! So, I just finished watching the finale of “The Amazing Race” 2024, and wow, what a ride! I gotta tell you about this whole experience, from start to finish.

I started watching this show way back, like, years ago. Never missed a season. This year, I decided I wasn’t just going to watch, I was gonna really follow it, keep notes, and see if I could predict who’d win. You know, just for fun.
So, March 13th, the premiere dropped, and I was glued to the screen. I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down every little detail. Who were the teams? What were their strengths and weaknesses? Every challenge, every location, I wrote it all down.
As the season went on, my notebook got pretty full. I had pages on Ricky and César, these boyfriends who seemed super strong and always in sync. Then there were Juan and Shane, these military pilot guys who were obviously tough as nails. And of course, Rod and Leticia, the married couple, they had that whole teamwork thing down.
- Ricky and César: Always seemed to be leading, super strategic.
- Juan and Shane: Physically strong, handled the tough challenges like champs.
- Rod and Leticia: Great communication, knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
I also kept track of all the places they visited. I mean, 8 countries and 14 cities! That’s insane. My notes had little flags next to each location. I even started looking up some of the places online, just to get a better feel for the environment they were racing in.
Each week, I watched like a hawk, updating my notes, making little predictions. “Okay, Ricky and César are gonna nail this Roadblock,” or “I bet Juan and Shane will struggle with this Detour.” It was like my own little game, you know?

Then came the finale on May 15th. I was so hyped! My notes were all over the place, I had arrows and stars and all sorts of scribbles. I even made a little chart with my final predictions. I’ll admit, I was rooting for Ricky and César. They just seemed to have that winning vibe, you know?
The last episode was intense. They were in Nashville, racing through the city. Every challenge was nail-biting. My heart was pounding the whole time. I kept pausing and rewinding, analyzing every move they made, comparing it to my notes.
The Big Moment
And then, the moment of truth. They announced the winners… Ricky and César! I jumped up and cheered. My prediction was right! I felt like I won too, in a way. It was just so satisfying to see them cross the finish line, especially after following their journey so closely.
Of course, I felt for Juan and Shane, and Rod and Leticia. They all did amazing. But hey, there can only be one winner, right? And apparently, the winners get a cool million bucks! The runners-up get $25, and I heard that every team gets something, which is nice.
So, yeah, that’s my “Amazing Race” 2024 story. It was way more than just watching a show. It was like I was part of the race, in my own little way. I had so much fun keeping track of everything, making my predictions, and seeing it all play out. I can’t wait for the next season!
