Okay, so I wanted to figure out who got the boot on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” right? I started by just looking up recent eliminations.
I found out that Hershii LiqCour-Jete was the first one to go in season 16. Bummer for her, I guess. It’s always rough being the first one out, you know?
Then I got a little sidetracked. I came across some trivia about Jujubee being in the finale three times. That’s crazy, right? And something about Alyssa and Eureka having multiple double shantays. I don’t even know what that means, but it sounds impressive.
- Started with recent eliminations.
- Found out Hershii LiqCour-Jete was the first to go in season 16.
- Got sidetracked with trivia about Jujubee, Alyssa, and Eureka.
Next, I read that Morphine won a lip sync. Good for her! Lip-syncing is, like, the heart of the show, so winning one is a big deal.
Digging Deeper
I kept digging and found a spoiler for episode 9 of season 16. I won’t say who went home in case you haven’t seen it, but it was a big deal because they were down to the top 9 queens.
I also stumbled upon some stuff about the first-ever queen to get eliminated, Victoria “Porkchop” Parker. Apparently, Akashia won the lip sync against her. And then there’s this whole thing about “sashay away” and “shantay, you stay,” which RuPaul always says. It’s like, the iconic catchphrase of the show.

- Learned about Victoria “Porkchop” Parker, the first-ever eliminated queen.
- Got the scoop on the “sashay away” and “shantay, you stay” catchphrases.
I even found out about someone named Saki Yew who had to leave because of a knee injury. That’s rough, man. Imagine having to quit because of an injury.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my deep dive into the “Drag Race” eliminations. I learned a lot, got a little distracted, but hey, that’s how I roll. It was a fun little adventure, and now I’m all caught up on who went home and some random trivia. And one last thing I saw was RuPaul saying “if you can’t love yourself” after each elimination, and that’s a pretty good message, right?
