Okay, so yesterday I did this thing, right? We joined “The Amazing Race”. Yeah, the TV show! It was me and my boyfriend, Cesar. We call ourselves “the bear couple”, kinda funny, huh? Anyway, we met online, dated for like nine months, and then made it official during a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We were already committed, so it didn’t feel like a big deal to say “You are my boyfriend,” you know?

So, Cesar, he’s 34 and a food stylist. Sounds fancy, right? I’m Ricky, by the way. We’re both from New York City. At first, we thought we were, like, the underdogs. Everyone was so athletic and stuff. But guess what? We actually started to become the strong ones, the ones to beat!
The whole thing was wild. We started in this huge city, all confused and excited. Then we had to do all these crazy tasks. We ran through crowded streets, solved some really hard puzzles, and even ate some weird food that I’d rather not talk about.
There was this one time, we had to find a clue in a giant market. It was so chaotic! People everywhere, vendors yelling, and we were just running around like chickens with our heads cut off. But you know what? Cesar was amazing. He kept his cool and figured it out. Teamwork, right?

Another time, we had to climb this super steep hill. I was dying, seriously. My legs were burning, I was out of breath, but I kept going. Cesar was ahead of me, cheering me on. That’s what kept me going, honestly.
We met so many different people, saw some incredible places, and just had the best time ever. Even though it was a competition, it felt more like an adventure, a crazy, amazing adventure with my guy.

How we did it:
Well, throughout the entire race, we just kept pushing ourselves. We supported each other, played to our strengths, and never gave up, even when things got really tough.
And guess what? We won! Yeah, Ricky and Cesar, the boyfriends from New York, we’re the official winners of The Amazing Race 36. It’s still crazy to think about. We proved that you don’t have to be the biggest or the strongest to win. You just need to have heart, determination, and an amazing partner by your side.
It was the most incredible experience of our lives. We learned so much about ourselves and each other. And we got to see the world! What more could you ask for?
