My Little Adventure with an “Inside Out” Emotion Quiz
So, the other day, I was just kinda drifting around the internet, you know how it is. Clicking on one thing, then another, and bam! I landed on this quiz: “Inside Out Quiz: What Emotion Are You?” I’d seen the movie, loved it, actually. Figured, why not? Got a bit of time, let’s see what digital voodoo tells me about my inner self today.

I clicked on the “start” button, obviously. And then the questions started rolling in. Some were pretty straightforward, like “What’s your go-to activity on a rainy day?” Easy peasy. Others made me pause a bit. Stuff like, “How do you react when someone cuts you off in traffic?” My honest answer probably isn’t very blog-friendly, haha! But I tried to be as truthful as I could, or at least what I thought was truthful at that moment. I remember one asking if I prefer a planned schedule or going with the flow. That one always gets me, ’cause I like the idea of a plan, but actually sticking to it? Whole different story.
I went through, I don’t know, maybe ten or fifteen questions. It wasn’t super long, which was good. I hate those quizzes that feel like you’re taking a final exam. This one was pretty light. I was clicking through, thinking, “Okay, am I going to be Joy? Or maybe Sadness? I do get a bit mopey sometimes.” Honestly, I was kinda hoping for Joy. Who wouldn’t want to be Joy, right?
The Big Reveal and My Thoughts
And then, after that last click, the little processing animation spun for a second, and there it was. My result. Drumroll, please… I got Fear!
Fear! Can you believe it? I mean, I wouldn’t call myself a daredevil, not by a long shot. But Fear? My first reaction was like, “Huh? Really?” I sat there for a good minute just looking at the screen. I even read the little description they gave for Fear, something about always looking out for potential dangers and keeping things safe. Okay, I can see some of that in me, I guess. I do tend to overthink things sometimes, wonder about what could go wrong. My friends sometimes joke that I’m the one who always brings the first-aid kit.
So, I started thinking about it.

- Do I double-check if the stove is off? Yes.
- Do I worry about deadlines a bit too much? Probably.
- Am I the first to suggest we shouldn’t try that sketchy-looking shortcut? Guilty.
Maybe the quiz wasn’t totally off base. It’s funny, ’cause you go into these things expecting a certain outcome, or just for a quick laugh. And then sometimes, it makes you think a little. Not saying this silly online quiz unlocked some deep psychological truth about me, not at all. But it was a fun little moment of, “Oh, okay, interesting.”
I even told my sister about it later, and she just laughed. Said it made total sense because I’m always the one warning everyone. So, there you have it. According to the internet, I’m Fear. Guess I’ll just have to embrace my inner cautiousness. It was a neat little way to spend ten minutes, anyway. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I hear a strange noise, better go check it out…
