Alright, so, I finally checked out this “Orgy Dome” thing at Burning Man. You know, the one everyone talks about, but no one really admits to going to? Yeah, that one. It took me a few years to work up the courage, but hey, I’m all about new experiences, so why the hell not?
First off, let me tell you, finding this place wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. It’s somewhere out there in the middle of the desert, surrounded by all sorts of other crazy camps and installations. But, with a little help from some friendly (and very naked) folks, I eventually tracked it down. It’s this big, round tent thing, all air-conditioned and surprisingly dust-free. They’ve got their own power grid, which is pretty impressive considering we’re in the middle of nowhere.
Now, here’s the deal. You don’t just waltz in there. They’ve got this whole sign-up process. You gotta decide if you’re going for the “public” option, which, you know, involves being around other people also getting it on. Or, you can do the “one-on-one exhibitionist” thing, which is basically just you and another person, but, like, everyone can watch. Choices, choices.
I decided to go big or go home, so I signed up for the public option. Stepped inside, and man, it was a scene. People everywhere, music playing, and just a whole lot of skin. I won’t go into too much detail, but let’s just say it was definitely an experience. I met some interesting people, had some interesting… interactions, and walked out of there feeling like I’d definitely broadened my horizons.
Oh and I have to mention the schedule. I think it was something like 4 PM to 4 AM on Wednesday, and then the next day they had it again. I only went for a few hours, but you could easily spend all night there if that’s your thing. They seem to have it every year, so it’s like, a whole thing.
Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re curious and you’re at Burning Man, it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared for, well, anything. And maybe bring some hand sanitizer. You’re gonna need it.
- Step 1: Find the Orgy Dome in the desert.
- Step 2: Sign up for your preferred experience.
- Step 3: Embrace the chaos.
- Step 4: Leave feeling… different.
It’s Wild
This was not my first time at Burning Man, but I have never built up the courage to enter the Orgy Dome. This year I figured I’d try something new. It was something else. It’s just so out there. It’s not just a little tent. It’s an experience. It’s organized chaos, but the organizers seem to have it down to a science. I’m not sure it’s for me, but I’m glad I tried it. I don’t think I’ll be going again, but it’s an interesting story. If you’re curious, then go for it. Otherwise, you may want to steer clear.
