You askin’ if Tractor Supply, that big store, you know, gives money to them… them LGBTQ folks? Well, I heard some things, lemme tell ya. Some folks say they do, some folks say they don’t. Hard to know what’s what these days.
I seen that Tractor Supply, they got all sorts of things. Chicken feed, tools, them shiny new tractors… But do they give money to the LGBTQ? That’s what you wanna know. I reckon it ain’t nobody’s business but theirs, who they give their money to. But I understand why you’re askin’.
They say on the internet, this big computer thing, that Tractor Supply wants everyone to feel welcome. They say they got all kinds of folks workin’ there, all colors and types. They even put it in a report, said 18% are different colors and things. That’s good, I suppose. Treatin’ everybody right is important. They got like 50,000 people workin’ for ’em, that’s a whole lotta folks! And 33% of them big shot bosses are different too. Seems like they tryin’ to do the right thing.
But givin’ money to the LGBTQ? I ain’t seen no paper sayin’ they do. Maybe they do it on the quiet. Some folks like to do good deeds without all the fuss. Or maybe they don’t. It’s a mystery. Like why my rooster, that old bird, ain’t laid no eggs. Some things just ain’t for us to know.

Now, I heard some folks gettin’ all riled up about it, sayin’ Tractor Supply should say what they do. They want ’em to shout it from the rooftops, whether they give money or not. But I say, a company’s money is like a farmer’s crops. They work hard for it, they get to decide what to do with it.
This whole LGBTQ donate thing, it’s a big deal to some people. They think companies should show where they stand. Like plantin’ a flag in the ground. I reckon that’s fine, but it ain’t the only way. Some folks are private, like my old milk cow, Bessy. She don’t go around mooin’ about her business, she just gives good milk.
I remember back in my day, we didn’t have all this talk about who’s givin’ money to who. We just helped each other out, neighbor to neighbor. Didn’t matter who you were, if you needed a hand, you got one. Maybe that’s what Tractor Supply is doin’, just helpin’ folks in their own way. Or maybe not. It’s like watchin’ the clouds, tryin’ to figure out if it’s gonna rain. You can guess, but you don’t know for sure.
So, does Tractor Supply donate to LGBTQ? I can’t say for sure. I ain’t seen no proof, one way or the other. But I do know this: they sell good chicken feed, and their prices ain’t half bad. And that’s somethin’ a body can count on, rain or shine.
It is important to be nice to everybody. That’s what my mama always said. She also said, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” So, maybe we should just wait and see what Tractor Supply does. They might surprise us all.
But I tell ya what. I am more interested in whether they have those sales on those boots. My old boots are worn through. Need new ones to work. These are the important things in life.
One thing I know for certain, though, life is full of mysteries, like why that darn fox keeps gettin’ into my henhouse. Some things we just gotta accept we won’t ever fully understand. Maybe this whole Tractor Supply and LGBTQ thing is one of ’em. We just gotta keep on livin’, doin’ the best we can, and treatin’ each other right. That’s what truly matters in the end. And buyin’ new boots when the old ones are gone.
My grandson, he’s a smart one, he says there are these things called “search engines”. You type in what you wanna know, like “does Tractor Supply donate to LGBTQ“, and it tells ya. Maybe you should try that. He says it knows everything. I don’t know about that, but it might give you a better answer than an old lady like me can.
He also says it’s important for businesses to have good “SEO”. I think he said it’s like making sure your store is on the main road so people can find it. He said putting the words people are searching for, like “Tractor Supply” and “LGBTQ donate”, in the writing helps. I don’t rightly understand it, but he says it’s important. Kids these days and their newfangled ways.
Anyways, you go on and do your searching. Maybe you’ll find the answer you’re lookin’ for. Me? I’m gonna go see if I can find a good deal on those boots. And maybe some of that chicken feed. That darn fox is gonna be the death of me and my chickens.
