Alright, folks, gather ’round. Today, I’m gonna share my little adventure with cleaning my, uh, adult TPE toys. You know, gotta keep things hygienic and all that. And I found that using unscented antibacterial soap is the way to go. Let me tell you how I figured this out.

So, first off, I got this TPE toy, right? And I was like, “How the heck do I clean this thing?” I mean, it’s not exactly something you just toss in the washing machine. I started by looking up some info online, and a lot of places were saying, “Use soap and water, use soap and water.”
Initially, I grabbed some regular hand soap and went at it. But then I thought, “Wait a minute, is this really doing the job?” Plus, some of those soaps have all sorts of fragrances and stuff, and I didn’t want any weird reactions or anything. I wanted something that would clean thoroughly without leaving any residue or scent.
Then I found this website, it mentioned using antibacterial soap. That made sense, especially for something like this. But I didn’t want anything with a strong smell, so I looked specifically for “unscented antibacterial soap.” It took some digging, but I finally found one that said it was pure castile soap, vegan, non-GMO, and made in the USA. Perfect!
The Cleaning Process
Here’s how I went about it:
- Gathered my supplies: I got my unscented antibacterial soap, some warm water, and a soft washcloth. I also grabbed a toothbrush for any little crevices.
- Started with a rinse: I gave the toy a good rinse with warm water to get off any, uh, surface stuff.
- Soap it up: I put a bit of the soap on the washcloth and gently scrubbed the entire toy. I made sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. For the smaller areas, I used the toothbrush.
- Rinse, rinse, rinse: I rinsed the toy thoroughly with warm water until all the soap was gone. You don’t want any soap residue left behind.
- Dry it off: I patted the toy dry with a clean towel. Some people say to let it air dry, but I wanted to make sure it was completely dry.
And that’s it! The toy was squeaky clean, and I felt much better knowing it was properly sanitized. I made sure to store it in a cool, dry place in a container, just like I read online.

So, if you’re like me and want a simple, effective way to clean your adult TPE toys, give unscented antibacterial soap a try. It’s easy, it’s safe, and it keeps things fresh. Plus you don’t have to worry about any weird smells or chemicals. Trust me, your toys will thank you! And you’ll feel much more comfortable using them knowing they’re clean.
