Okay, so I saw this “Jack Frost Elsa” thing trending, and I got curious. You know, the whole fan-made couple thing? I thought, “Why not try to make some art about it?” So I did!

First, I gathered some references. I looked up a bunch of pictures of Jack Frost from “Rise of the Guardians” and Elsa from “Frozen.” Gotta get those character designs right, you know?
Next, I started sketching. I’m not the best artist, but I wanted to capture that “icy” feel. I did a few rough sketches, just trying to get the poses and expressions how I wanted them. It took a couple of tries, seriously. My first Elsa looked more like a grumpy snowman.
My Drawing Process
-
Penciling: Lightly sketched the basic shapes and outlines. Lots of erasing, let me tell you.
-
Inking: Went over the pencil lines with a pen. My hand was a little shaky, but it turned out okay.
-
Color: Add some color, I choose blue and white series of color.
-
Adding Some Sparkle: Because, magic, right? I used some glitter pens to make it look all frosty and cool.
Then came the coloring. Lots of blues and whites, obviously. I tried to make it look like they were surrounded by snowflakes and ice. I even added a little bit of glitter, because why not?
It’s not perfect, but I had fun doing it. It’s cool to see how people take these characters and create their own stories and ideas. Maybe I’ll try making some more “Jack Frost Elsa” art, who knows?
