Hey, everyone! I’ve been following “Bridgerton” recently, and I noticed something interesting about one of the actresses, Jessica Madsen. She plays Cressida Cowper, right? Well, I got curious and started digging around.
First, I saw that she made a post for Pride Month. That’s cool, I thought. Then I saw another post where she actually said she’s “in love with a woman.” Wow, good for her! It takes guts to come out like that, especially when you’re in the public eye.
- I checked out her Instagram, and there were a bunch of pride-related pictures. Rainbow graphics, that sort of thing. It’s nice to see her being so open about it.
- I read an interview she did, I think it was with Decider, where she talked about it a bit more. She seemed really genuine and happy.
- Then I found some articles talking about how she’s 32 years old. I don’t know why, but that surprised me. She looks younger on the show!
Anyway, I thought it was pretty awesome that she’s using her platform to spread some positivity and be true to herself. It’s not every day you see someone in the entertainment industry being so open about their personal life.
I kept digging, and I saw some speculation about her character, Cressida, possibly being queer too. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if that’s true. But honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me. “Bridgerton” has been pretty good about including diverse storylines.
So yeah, that’s my little deep dive into Jessica Madsen’s recent coming out. I just wanted to share because I thought it was a cool thing, and it made me appreciate her even more, both as an actress and as a person. Keep being you, Jessica!
