Well, today I’m gonna talk about how I made some cute Christmas cards for my mom. You know, the holiday season is just around the corner, and I really wanted to do something special for her.

So, first things first, I started by looking around online for some inspiration. I just typed in “cute Christmas cards for mom” in the search bar and browsed through a bunch of websites. There were so many options! Handmade cards, personalized ones, cards with poems… you name it. I even found some websites selling cards from different shops with prices ranging from like $3 to $15.
After getting some ideas, I decided I wanted to make the cards myself. I mean, nothing beats a homemade gift, right? So I gathered all the materials I needed: cardstock, colorful markers, glitter, glue, and some old family photos.
- Cardstock
- Markers
- Glitter
- Glue
- Family photos
Then, I got to work. I folded the cardstock in half to make the base of the cards. I wanted to make a few different ones, each with its own unique touch. For the first card, I drew a simple Christmas tree using green and red markers and added some glitter to make it sparkle. Inside, I wrote a heartfelt message, just telling her how much I love and appreciate her.
For the second card, I decided to go with a photo collage theme. I picked out some of our favorite family photos from past Christmases and glued them onto the card in a fun, creative way. I added some cute stickers and wrote a short message reminiscing about those good times we had together. It was so much fun going through those old photos!
And for the final card, I tried something a bit different. I used a hole punch to create a snowflake pattern on the front of the card, and then I glued some white and silver glitter around it to make it look like a snowy scene. I thought it turned out pretty neat! Inside, I wrote a little poem about how she’s the best mom ever and how grateful I am to have her in my life.

The Result
In the end, I was really happy with how the cards turned out. They were cute, personal, and made with a lot of love. I wrapped them up nicely and can’t wait to give them to my mom on Christmas morning. I think she’s gonna love them!
It’s just one of those things where putting in that extra effort to make something yourself really makes a difference. I highly recommend trying it out if you want to give your mom (or anyone, really) a special and unique Christmas gift this year.
