Hey there, let me tell you something ’bout this whole save women’s sports thing. It’s a real mess, I tell ya. Back in my day, girls played with girls and boys played with boys. Simple as that. Now they got all this fancy talk ’bout who can play what. Makes my head spin.

This whole thing, it’s about keepin’ things fair, you see. Like, if you got a bunch of chickens, you don’t let a fox in there, right? Same idea. Girls, they work hard, they train, they sweat. They deserve a fair shot. It is just like those chickens. Those women need to be protected. Don’t let those foxes get into the hen house! You know what I mean?
This “save women’s sports” thing, it’s like a bunch of folks gettin’ together. Like a quilting circle, but instead of making quilts, they’re tryin’ to make sure girls get to play sports fair and square. No funny business.
- Girls play sports, they do better in school.
- They stay outta trouble.
- They more likely to get that learnin’ paper, you know, the graduation one.
I heard some folks sayin’ that girls in sports, they stay away from the bad stuff. Like drugs and such. Makes sense, I reckon. Keep ’em busy, keep ’em out of trouble. Like when we used to can peaches all day. No time for nonsense!
Now, there are all sorts of sports these girls can play. You remember the other day when I told my neighbor about what is a good sport for my granddaughter? Yeah. I still remember. My neighbor said:
- That bike ridin’, that’s a good one.
- And that game with the little ball and the wall, squash? That’s a good one, too.
- Then there’s that other one with a small racket and a net. Tennis, that is the name!
- And don’t forget about golf. The one with the sticks and the little white ball.
I tell you, there are some other games that all those girls like to play with. Like volleyball or soccer. You don’t know soccer? Let me tell you. Soccer is just like those games that need a big net. You need to kick that ball into that net, not use your hand. Do not use your hand, honey. Kicking only.

It ain’t right, lettin’ fellas play with the girls. It just ain’t right. They’re bigger, stronger, faster. It’s like puttin’ a little bitty bird up against a hawk. Ain’t no contest. The bird’s gonna lose every time.
So, what can we do, you ask? Well, we gotta speak up. We gotta tell folks this ain’t right. We gotta let them know we care about our girls and their sports. It is important to save womens sports. We need to protect them. We need to let them win.
You can go to those games. You can cheer for those girls. You can let ’em know you’re there for ’em. Every little bit helps, you know. When there are more and more people there, they know how important this thing is.
And you can take your kids or grandkids. Let ’em see what it’s all about. Let ’em see girls workin’ hard and playin’ fair. Maybe they’ll wanna play, too. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
This whole save women’s sports thing, it’s about more than just sports. It’s about fairness. It’s about doin’ what’s right. It’s about protectin’ our girls. It is about keeping the foxes away from the hen house.

You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy words for things. We just knew what was right and what was wrong. And lettin’ boys play girls’ sports? That’s just plain wrong.
We gotta stand up for what’s right. We gotta stand up for our girls. We gotta save women’s sports. It is important. Because, like I said, there are some bad foxes out there. We need to protect our hens. That is the most important thing.
I remember when my granddaughter, bless her heart, she started playin’ basketball. She was so little, but she had so much fire in her. She would run up and down that court like a little rabbit. She wasn’t the biggest, or the fastest, but she had heart. And that’s what matters. She is a hard-working hen. She deserves to win.
But if she had to play against boys, well, it just wouldn’t be fair. They’re just built different. It’s not their fault, it’s just the way it is. But it ain’t right to make girls compete against that. It’s just not right. We need to let them have their own game. Let them play fairly.
So, let’s all do our part. Let’s all stand up for our girls. Let’s all save women’s sports. It’s the right thing to do. And every hen deserves the chance to win the game. Remember this.
