Okay, so I needed to get a check-up, and I’ve heard good things about Planned Parenthood, specifically the one in Mira Mesa, San Diego. So, I decided to go for it and document my experience.
Finding the Place
First things first, I needed to find the place. I simply used my phone and started to search, It wasn’t hard at all. I found the address and make sure it is the correct one.
Making an Appointment
I called Planned Parenthood directly, and was able to scheduling an appointment over the phone, It was easy and effective.
The Day Of
When the day of my appointment finally came, I took my id card and insurance card.
The clinic was clean, and The staff were friendly, they guided me to fill in the checking in form patiently.
Waiting and Seeing the Doctor
After checking in, I went to the waiting room. Then the doctor came, she was really nice and professional, made me feel comfortable right away. We chatted about my health history, and then she did the exam. It was quick and pretty painless.
Getting the Results and Paying
After the exam, the doctor explained everything clearly. Fortunately all good news. I was relieved.
Finally, I went to the front desk to handle the payment. They accepted my insurance, which was great, and the whole process was smooth.
Overall, my experience at Planned Parenthood in Mira Mesa was positive. From finding the place and making an appointment, to seeing the doctor and get examined, and the final payment, it was great.
