Okay, so yesterday I had to swing by the Planned Parenthood in East Oakland, the one near the Coliseum. Let me tell you, finding it was the first hurdle.

I drove around for a bit, I must say. It is kinda tucked away, you know? Finally, I spotted the building, which looks simple and discreet. There is a parking lot, which is good, but it was pretty full when I got there.
Getting Inside
Once I got inside, there was a small waiting area. I checked in at the front desk. The person there was pretty chill and helpful, they handed me some paperwork to fill out. Pretty standard stuff – medical history, contact info, that kind of thing.
I sat down and filled everything out, It took me a little while, I always double-check those forms.
The waiting room itself was, you know, fine. It was clean and had some magazines and pamphlets about different health topics.

The Appointment
After a bit of a wait, a nurse called my name. We went into a smaller room, She asked me some questions about why I was there, checked my vitals – blood pressure, all that jazz. She was really nice and professional, making small talk to calm me down.
Then, the doctor came in. We talked about my concerns, and they explained everything really clearly, and answered all my questions,
I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure I understood everything.
Wrapping Up
After the appointment, I went back to the front desk to check out. They handled the billing stuff there,I have insurance, so they sorted it out for me.

I made my next appointment there as well, easy peasy.
Overall, my experience there was positive. From start to finish. Everyone was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable,
It’s a solid place to go if you need their services. Just remember, give yourself extra time for parking!
