Okay, so today I decided to check out the Planned Parenthood in Costa Mesa, California. I’ve been meaning to go for a while, and it was time to gather some info.
Getting Started
First thing, I needed to do some searching about it. I started to use search engine, to check it’s open time and some detail.
Making the call
I found their number and gave them a call. I just wanted to get a feel for the place, you know? See what services they offered and what the general vibe was. The person on the phone was actually super nice and helpful. They answered all my basic questions without making me feel weird or anything.
Figuring Out the Details
After the call, I felt a bit more comfortable. I spent some time looking for more infomation. I want to check more detail about it.
- What kind of birth control options do they have?
- Do they do STI testing?
- How the payment options?
Next Steps
I decided to check another day. I will make an appointment * looks pretty straightforward, which is nice.
I’m still figuring things out, but this was a good first step. It’s always a little nerve-wracking dealing with this kind of stuff, but I’m glad I took the time to do some research and make that call.
