I recently got into this thing with Paris Campbell Grace, and let me tell you, it turned into quite the project. It all started when I stumbled upon her TikTok. I mean, this woman is everywhere, from stand-up comedy to singing, she does it all. Her follower count is just nuts – we’re talking 78K on one platform and over 600K on TikTok, with millions of likes. It’s insane.
So, I started digging. First, I listened to her EP, ‘GIVE AN INCH.’ That thing was recorded last December at this studio in Water Valley. Really cool vibes. Then I found out she’s actually married to Laura Jane Grace from Against Me! They tied the knot in Vegas, super low-key, which is pretty awesome. I saw some videos Laura posted about it, and it looked like a blast.

I even started following her on other platforms, like Threads. She’s got 11K followers there and posts some pretty entertaining stuff. You know, the usual – “noisy, annoying, temporary burden to society.” Her words, not mine. And it’s hilarious.
I also found some of her performances in New York City. Man, I wish I could have seen those live. She started doing stand-up back in 2012. That’s over a decade of making people laugh. Respect. And get this, she’s born in ’92, which makes her just a bit younger than me. It’s wild to see someone achieve so much at a young age.
It’s been a ride following her journey. From her early comedy days to marrying a punk rock musician, and now dropping her own music. It’s been fun to see it all unfold.
This whole deep dive got me thinking about how people can reinvent themselves. Paris went from stand-up to music, all while building this massive online presence. It’s inspiring, to say the least.
What I Learned
This whole experience reminded me that it’s never too late to try something new. Paris Campbell Grace is a prime example of someone who’s not afraid to take risks and explore different creative avenues. It’s something I’m trying to incorporate into my own life now.
