Okay, so I needed to get to Planned Parenthood in City Heights. I’ve been putting it off, but, you know, gotta take care of things. First thing I did was hop on my phone to find the address. I got the address pretty quick, and then I started checking the bus routes because, you know, driving in that area can be a bit of a pain.

I looked at the bus schedule, and it didn’t look too bad. There’s a bus stop pretty close to my place and another one a short walk from the clinic. I made a mental note of the bus numbers and times, figured I’d give myself plenty of extra time because buses can be, well, unpredictable. I’m also not gonna lie, I checked out the street view on the map, just to get a visual of the area and the building. It helps me feel less anxious when I know what to expect.
The day of, I made sure I had my ID and insurance card. Better safe than sorry, right? I packed a little bag with a book and some headphones, figuring there might be a wait. I headed out early, caught the bus, no problem.
Getting to the Planned Parenthood City Heights
When I got off the bus, I used my phone’s map again, just to make sure I was heading in the right direction. It was only like a five-minute walk, so not bad at all. Found the building, no problem. It looked just like it did on the street view, which was kind of comforting, oddly enough.
I went inside, checked in at the front desk. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. I filled out some paperwork, then took a seat in the waiting area. I ended up reading my book for a bit, but the wait wasn’t as long as I thought it would be.
I saw the doctor, got everything taken care of. They were really professional and understanding, answered all my questions. Seriously, made the whole thing a lot less stressful than I thought it would be. Afterwards, I just headed back to the bus stop, got home, and, bam, done. Whole thing was pretty smooth, actually.

If you have to visit this clinic, I think you don’t need to worry about it. Just prepare your stuffs well and be there earlier.
