Today, I felt like digging into some Kanye West quotes. I’ve always found the guy interesting, to say the least, so I figured, why not see what kind of stuff he’s been saying over the years? I grabbed my laptop, made some coffee, and started searching.

First, I just typed in “Kanye West quotes” into the search bar and started skimming through the results. There were a bunch of different websites that had collections of his quotes. I clicked on a few of them and started browsing.

The first one I found was, “Shoot for the stars, so if you fall you land on a cloud.” It was alright, a little cheesy, but classic Kanye with the big dreams and all that.

Then there were a few that were, well, a bit more out there. Like the ones talking about Bill Cosby or slavery. Those were definitely a bit more controversial, and not really the kind of quotes I was looking for.

I stumbled upon one where he compared himself to Hitler, but then he said it was a joke. And he called himself the “most impactful artist of our generation.” Gotta give it to him, the guy’s definitely not lacking in confidence. He claims to be humble, but I’m not so sure about that.
I spent a good hour just reading through different quotes, some inspirational, some funny, some just plain weird. I also checked out some of his song lyrics, because the guy’s got some memorable lines in his music, too.

While I was at it, I read a bit about his song “Bound 2.” Apparently, it’s a pretty popular one, and people really like the soul vibe it has. It reminded me a bit of his older stuff from his first album. A lot of people called it one of the best songs on the album.
So, that was my little adventure into the world of Kanye West quotes. It was a mixed bag, for sure. I guess that’s just Kanye for you, though. You never really know what you’re gonna get.
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share my little journey. Maybe I’ll do another one of these deep dives into someone else’s quotes or lyrics. Any suggestions for who I should check out next?
