Okay, so I had a bit of a health scare a while back and needed to find a doctor in Mesa, Arizona. I live over in the Gilbert Road area, so I was looking for something close by. You know how it is, when you need to see a doctor, you don’t want to drive all over town.
I started, you know, by asking around, checking with neighbors, and seeing if anyone had recommendations. Then I did some searching online and found a few options. One place that popped up was the City of MESA Health Wellness Center. The address is 1121 S Gilbert Rd #101 in Mesa, which is really close to where I live. Perfect, right?
I also read that there’s a place called Clinica Hispana De Mesa. Seemed like they do a bunch of stuff like blood tests and treating things like thyroid, diabetes, and cholesterol. That sounded pretty good too, because who doesn’t like a one-stop shop?
Then, of course, I dug a bit deeper and looked up some reviews. There were a few other places mentioned, like Red Mountain Medical Plaza and HonorHealth Mountain Vista Medical Center. I made notes of their names to check them in the future.
Anyways, back to the City of MESA Health Wellness Center. Their website said they do primary care and internal medicine. I felt like I just needed a general check-up, nothing too fancy, so I gave them a call.
- Got an appointment pretty easily.
- Went in, filled out some paperwork, you know, the usual stuff.
- The place was clean, and the staff seemed friendly enough.
The doctor I saw was thorough. Asked me a bunch of questions about my health history, lifestyle, all that jazz. Checked my blood pressure, listened to my heart and lungs, the whole nine yards.
Turns out, I was dealing with some allergies. I also got an ear infection which explained why I felt off. They gave me some meds and told me to come back if things didn’t get better.
Overall, it was a decent experience. I’m just glad I found a medical clinic close to home. It’s always good to have a place you can go to when you’re not feeling your best. So, if you’re in Mesa, AZ, and need a doctor, especially near Gilbert Rd, the City of MESA Health Wellness Center is worth checking out. They seem to cover the basics, and it’s always better to get things checked out than to ignore them, right?
