Okay, so we decided to mix things up a bit the other night. Things kinda felt like they were getting into a routine, you know? Same old, same old.

Trying Something Different
We were just talking, and somehow the idea of trying different positions came up. Heard about this one, the “prone bone,” sounded kinda straightforward. Basically, she lies flat on her stomach, and I’m behind her.
Getting Started
So, she got comfortable, face down on the bed. Pillows were involved, gotta get the angle right, or so we thought. I positioned myself behind her, kneeling. Seemed simple enough on paper, or, well, in my head.
The Actual Attempt
- First try: Felt kinda awkward. The angle wasn’t quite working. It was more fumbling around than anything smooth.
- Adjusting: Shifted pillows, tried changing my angle a bit. A little better, maybe? Hard to tell sometimes.
- Finding a rhythm: Took a minute. It’s not like the usual go-to moves. You gotta figure out the movement, the depth. It’s different, that’s for sure.
How It Felt
Honestly? It was… interesting. Not mind-blowing, not terrible. Just different. The closeness is there, definitely, being pressed up against her back. But the control and the view are obviously not the same as other positions.

Was it worth it?
Yeah, I guess. It broke the monotony. Sometimes you just gotta try stuff, right? See what works, what doesn’t. We communicated during it, like, “Is this okay?” “Try shifting this way.” That part’s always important, probably more important than the position itself.
We didn’t stick with it the whole time. Kind of transitioned into something more familiar after a bit. It wasn’t uncomfortable, just maybe not our top pick for the future. But hey, now we know. Added it to the mental list of things we’ve experimented with. It’s good to keep exploring, keeps things from getting stale. Better than just wondering ‘what if’, anyway.
