Alright folks, let me tell you about this little project I tackled. It’s called “lovers forever,” and yeah, it’s a bit cheesy, but stick with me. It was all about creating something lasting, a digital memento if you will.

First off, I grabbed some photos. Old ones, new ones, silly ones, you name it. I’m talking about a real mix. Then, I started fiddling around with some basic image editing software. Nothing fancy, just cropping, resizing, and tweaking the brightness and contrast a bit. Gotta make sure those memories pop, right?
Next up, the music. I spent way too long curating a playlist. Something that felt right, something that told a story. I ended up with a mix of songs that were significant to, you know, “the lovers.” Some upbeat stuff, some slow jams, the whole shebang.
Then came the tricky part. I wanted to create a video montage. I messed around with a free video editor, and let me tell you, it was a learning curve! Dragging and dropping photos, syncing them with the music, adding some basic transitions. It took ages, and there were definitely moments where I wanted to chuck my laptop out the window.
I added some text overlays too. Just little snippets of poems, inside jokes, things like that. Just using basic text functions in the video editor. nothing to it.
I did a bunch of test exports. Realized the image quality was garbage. Went back, tweaked the settings, and tried again. Rinse and repeat. Eventually, I got something that looked decent enough.

After the video montage part, i felt something was still missing. So i added a simple animation. there are many free png image sequences on the internet to use as animation so i snagged one and imported it. added it to the part where there was music beat drops to give it a nice touch.
Finally, I uploaded the finished product to a private server. It’s not gonna win any awards, but it’s personal. And that’s what matters, right?
