Alright, so yesterday I was feeling all mushy and decided I wanted to make something cute. I was scrolling through Pinterest, like you do, and boom, “love quotes Grey’s Anatomy” hit me right in the feels. I thought, “Why not make a little scrapbook page with some of those quotes?” So, that’s what I did.
First thing, I ransacked my craft supplies. I found this old scrapbook I hadn’t touched in ages, and grabbed some colored cardstock – you know, the usual reds, pinks, and a bit of grey ’cause, well, Grey’s Anatomy. I also dug out some old photos of my significant other and me, nothing too fancy, just some snapshots from random dates and trips.
Next up, the quotes. I Googled “best love quotes Grey’s Anatomy” and copied a bunch into a Word doc. Then I played around with different fonts, trying to find ones that felt both romantic and a little bit medical-y, if that makes sense. I printed them out on plain paper, figuring I could always layer them onto something nicer later.
Then came the fun part – arranging everything! I cut the quotes into strips, started layering the photos onto different colored cardstock, and just played around with the layout on my desk. I wanted it to look kinda messy but in a cute, organized way. Like organized chaos, you know?
I used some double-sided tape to stick everything down. For some of the quote strips, I used foam squares to give them a bit of dimension. I also found some old buttons and little heart-shaped stickers that I scattered around the page for extra flair.
Honestly, it took me a good couple of hours to get everything just right. I kept rearranging things, swapping out photos, and tweaking the placement of the quotes. I even ended up adding a little doodle of a stethoscope, because why not?
The end result? A super cheesy but heartfelt scrapbook page filled with love quotes from Grey’s Anatomy and some of my favorite photos. It’s definitely not perfect, but it’s something I made with my own two hands, and that’s what matters.
I’m thinking of making more of these with different themes. Maybe one with quotes from “The Office” or “Parks and Recreation”. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
