Okay, here’s my attempt at writing a blog post in the style you described, focusing on the “letter to best friend to make her cry” prompt:

So, I decided I wanted to write a super emotional letter to my bestie, Sarah. Just ’cause, you know? We’ve been through so much, and I wanted to really lay it all out there, make her feel all the feels.
First, I grabbed my favorite notebook – the one with the slightly coffee-stained cover, ’cause it felt more… authentic, I guess. And my good pen, the one that doesn’t skip. Super important.
Brainstorm Time!
I started by just jotting down a bunch of memories. Like, EVERYTHING. That time we got lost in the woods during that camping trip and freaked out? Yep. The time she helped me dye my hair that awful shade of green and we laughed until we cried? In there. All the stupid inside jokes, the late-night talks, the times we just sat in silence, totally comfortable. I wrote it ALL down.
It was a MESS, total chaos on the page. But it was our chaos.
Putting it Together
Next, I tried to, like, organize it. Not in a super strict way, but I wanted it to flow. I started with how we met – which was SO awkward, by the way, total middle school cringe – and then kinda went chronologically. I think.

I used a lot of “remember when…” and “I’ll never forget…” Oh, and I totally threw in some of those phrases we always use, the ones that nobody else would get.
The key, I realized, was being VULNERABLE.
Like, not holding back. Telling her how much she actually means to me, how much she’s helped me grow, how I can’t imagine my life without her. Stuff I don’t usually say out loud, ’cause, ew, feelings, right?
Making it Pretty(ish)
- I didn’t want it to be just a wall of text, so I added some little doodles in the margins.
- Nothing fancy, just some hearts and stars and inside joke-related drawings.
- I even considered spraying it with my perfume, but that seemed a bit much. Even for me.
The Delivery
I folded it up all nice and put it in a pretty envelope. I even wrote her name in that fancy calligraphy I tried to learn that one time (and mostly failed at). Then…I debated. Should I give it to her in person? Mail it? Leave it on her doorstep?
In the end, I decided to just hand it to her next time we hung out. No big speech, just “Hey, I wrote this for you.”

Did she cry? You bet. Mission accomplished. We both ended up a blubbering mess, but it was, like, the best kind of blubbering mess. It was one for the books, that’s for sure, with the mission of letter done.
