Okay, so I finally got around to trying out the Lelo Dot. Heard a lot about it, seen the ads, figured I’d see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, it’s… interesting.

First off, the unboxing. It’s Lelo, so you already know the packaging is gonna be fancy. Like, Apple-level fancy. Makes you feel like you’re buying something important, even though it’s, well, you know. Got it out of the box, and the thing itself is smaller than I expected. Sleek, smooth silicone, feels nice in your hand.
Charged it up – thankfully, USB rechargeable, none of that weird proprietary charger nonsense. Took maybe an hour or so to get a full charge. Then came the fun part. Applied some lube, because, duh. And started experimenting.
Now, the Dot is all about those vibrations. It’s got a bunch of different patterns and intensities. Some are buzzy, some are rumbly, some are just plain weird. I tried them all, naturally. Started with the low settings, gradually worked my way up. Some of the patterns were kinda pointless, honestly. Like, who needs a vibration pattern that’s basically just a tiny little tickle? But some of them were surprisingly effective. The pulsating ones, especially. Those were good.
The size is also something to note. It’s small, which makes it pretty discreet and easy to handle. You can really get it into the right spots, if you know what I mean. But it also means it doesn’t cover a huge area, so you have to be precise.
I also tried it out with a partner, which was a whole different experience. Definitely adds a new dimension to things. The small size makes it easy for them to use, and the different vibration patterns can be a lot of fun to explore together.

Cleaning it was easy enough. Just soap and water, like any other silicone toy. Dried it off, popped it back in its little pouch, and it’s ready for next time.
The verdict? It’s not gonna blow your mind, but it’s a solid little vibrator. The different patterns are a nice touch, and the small size makes it versatile. Is it worth the Lelo price tag? That’s up to you. There are definitely cheaper options out there that will get the job done. But if you’re looking for something sleek, well-designed, and with a bit of a “premium” feel, the Dot is worth considering.
Here’s a quick rundown:
- Pros: Sleek design, good vibration patterns, easy to clean, USB rechargeable.
- Cons: Pricey, some vibration patterns are pointless, small size might not be for everyone.
Would I buy it again? Maybe. It’s a nice addition to the toy collection, but it’s not an essential. There you have it – my Lelo Dot experience. Hope that was helpful!
