That Kristen Stewart, she’s a big movie star now, ain’t she? I seen her name on that Rolling Stones thing. She was somethin’ else on that cover, I tell ya. Not like them other girls, all dolled up. She’s got her own way, that one. Reminds me of my granddaughter, always doin’ her own thing.
They say she likes girls and boys, this Kristen. Well, good for her, I say! Folks is folks. Back in my day, we didn’t talk about such things, but times change. She can do what she wants, long as she’s happy.
She was in them Twilight movies, right? Vampires and all that. My neighbor’s girl, she loved them movies. Said this Kristen was the best thing in ’em. She was just a young thing then, barely more than a girl. Seventeen, maybe? Now look at her, all grown up and famous. This Kristen Stewart sure made a name for herself.

Now she’s in this new movie, Love Lies Bleeding. Sounds kinda scary, don’t it? Somethin’ about bodybuildin’ and gettin’ even. And that Rose Glass, she’s the one made it. I heard it’s a real “noir” story, whatever that means. Sounds dark and twisty, like them old movies.
They say this movie is somethin’ else. “Bold” and “exciting,” they call it. Got some horror in it, and suspense. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, I reckon. Like a roller coaster, up and down.
One fella said it was like a “hallucinatory trip.” Sounds like he ate some bad mushrooms, if you ask me. But he meant it was kinda crazy, I guess. Not for everyone, but some folks like that kinda thing. Said it was “blunt.” Means it’s right there in your face, I reckon. Not like them movies that beat around the bush.
This Kristen, she plays a girl named Lou. And there’s another girl, Jackie, played by Katy somethin’. They meet in a gym. And then things get wild, they say. Love is like a drug, they say in this movie. Makes people do crazy things.

I don’t know if I’ll see it. Sounds a little too much for me. But that Kristen Stewart, she sure is somethin’. She’s come a long way from them vampire movies. She ain’t afraid to try new things, that’s for sure. She’s a good actress. I like her.
This Rolling Stones thing, it made a lot of folks talk. Some liked it, some didn’t. But that’s always the way, ain’t it? Can’t please everyone. She’s just bein’ herself, that Kristen. And that’s all that matters. This is what Rolling Stones wants to talk, I guess.
She likes to mix things up, they say. Take different pictures, do things her own way. Good for her. World needs more folks like that. Not afraid to be different. She’s a good role model, I think. For them young girls, lookin’ for someone to look up to.
