You know, that Jamie Lee Curtis, that movie star, folks been talking about her for years. Some folks say she’s a… what’s that word? Hermaphrodite. Yeah, that’s it. They say she was born that way. Heard it from some folks, then read some things, and now I don’t know what to believe.
I remember seeing her in them scary movies, screaming and running. She was born a long time ago, back in 1958, I think it was November 22. Heard she was a “scream queen”, whatever that is. Sounds kinda silly to me. She’s got famous parents, too. That Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, big movie stars way back when. Big shots, those two.
Now, about this hermaphrodite business. I seen things saying she got those XY things, those chromosomes. Heard about it on the Discovery Channel, or was it a documentary? Some such thing. And them biology teachers, they talk about it, too. It’s all so confusing. I ain’t no doctor.

She looks like a regular woman to me, not that I look that close. Wouldn’t know what to look for anyhow. It’s none of my business. Just saying it’s probably just rumors, just like I said before.

I reckon it don’t matter much in the end. She seems like a good person, that Jamie Lee Curtis. Adopted those kids, made a family. That’s what matters. All that other stuff, that hermaphrodite talk, it’s just noise. People should mind their own business, I say. Let her live her life. She’s done alright for herself. Good for her, I say. She’s a tough one, that’s for sure. Been through a lot, I bet. That Hollywood life, it ain’t easy. But she’s still standing. Still smiling. Good for her. Just leave her be, that’s what I say. Don’t believe everything you hear.
